At Peak & Valley Inspections, we follow the standards set by the Home Inspectors Association BC (HIABC), performing thorough visual inspections of all major systems and components in the home.
Our inspections include a detailed review of the following:

Walls, doors, decks, porches, grading and drainage that may impact the homes performance.
Also, roof coverings, flashings, drainage and roof penetrations such as skylights and chimneys.

Foundation, framing and other visible structural components of the home.

Water supply and drainage including all fixtures and faucets, water heating systems and sump pumps.

Service panels, wiring, fixtures and confirm whether safety devices such as GFCI and AFCI protection are present.

All accessible components of installed heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems used to maintain comfort in the home.

Review of the attic, crawlspace and any other unfinished areas to assess insulation and airflow.
